Solar power is not cutting it for our energy needs and never will. There is a growing push to abandon funding it and instead focus on more viably green technologies.
Although solar energy is a nice step in the right direction there is growing concern that it will never be sufficient to fully service our energy needs. Many are concerned that while these types of technologies are better and do in fact reduce our dependence on petroleum and other more harmful energy sources they do not do enough to reduce carbon dioxide emissions.
